Aim & Scope

Journal of Skin Cancer Case Reports is a peer-reviewed, Open Access journal that publishes clinical and translational research on the detection, diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of skin malignancies. The journal encourages the submission of skin cancer case report articles related to pathology, prognostic indicators and biomarkers, novel therapies, as well as drug sensitivity and resistance. Journal of Skin Cancer Case Reports aims to provide a platform for the publication of high-quality case reports in the field of skin cancer. The journal focuses on presenting interesting and unique cases that contribute to the understanding, diagnosis, and management of skin cancer. The scope of the journal encompasses various types of skin cancer, including melanoma, basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and rare skin cancers. By publishing these case reports, the journal aims to promote knowledge sharing and facilitate further research in the field of skin cancer.

Objectives

• Identify the risk factors for the development of both nonmelanoma and melanoma skin cancers.
• Describe the common physical examination findings in actinic keratosis, squamous cell carcinoma, basal cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
• Summarize the treatment and management options available for skin cancer.
• Explain interprofessional team strategies for improving care coordination and communication in the management of skin cancer.
